Dress Friendly

I normally don't post about fashion here, but I'm generally for anything that's about keeping things green and reversing the negative cycle that is unfortunately a fact we can no longer ignore, so when I discovered this today, I thought it sounded pretty awesome.

H&M is on March 25th releasing a collection of clothes named The Garden Collection. Here's the perk: They're made out of only recycled and organic materials. All the garments have been produced using sustainable materials or using recycled PET bottles or textile waste. How cool isn't that? Plus, they're really cute and will be really wallet friendly! I think I'm gonna have to sign up for this one too:)

Here are some of my favorites:

Needless to say, I'm into dresses.

This is so astonishing me to me and exciting. A big, well-established company like H&M respecting the environment in a definitely fashionable way. Love it. Thanks for sharing.

Um, I love H&M. They have the cutest things. I am loving their new line! It's crazy how they can recycle just about everything these days. It's cool and earth friendly, too.

In reply: thanks! :) I did change my blog banner.

If I wasn't saving all my pennies right now, I would buy the red jacket! Wowee.

I don't know if you have heard of 'People Tree' clothing?? It's fairtrade clothing and if you search hard enough can get it at pretty decent prices. ASOS.com sells it and its often in the sale section oh and Oxfam sells a few bits now. I was looking at a shirt which was only £7. Ok I'll stop now. Haha

Ha, Lisa, I can tell you're into this! It's great! And I know, the red jacket for a night out, mm. I do think I've heard about People Tree, but I didn't know where to get them and so on. Thanks so much for the info, definitely looking it up!
And yes Sum, it's amazing what possibilities there are in recycling and changing the way we use stuff. I love it!

It shows that we can have clothing that is just as much of a statement when made green. I think it debunks the myth that eco-friendly fashion would look like a burlap sac!

I usually don't step into H&M despite the many stores in NY, but I will check this line out.
