Thoughts

Sometimes, we get stuck in life. Something that we have strived for doesn't turn out the way we wanted it to, sudden changes or unplanned events come into out lives. Changing course, or just continuing onward, can sometimes be quite a challenge.

I am myself at one of those crossroads in my life. I recently left New York City after 3 years of intense life there. It's been a huge change, a big gap to fill, but ultimately, I don't regret for a minute that I left.

And I really, really love Europe and what it has to offer. And yes, I say Europe as if it was one country, but one can't deny that it has so much to offer. Someday I'll write more about NY, when I'm ready for it. In the mean time, there's always Mr Darcy and all that he has to offer.

In vain I have struggled. It will not do. You must allow me to tell you --

-- Well, I wish, but mr Darcy hasn't actually showed up yet, so I thought I might start blogging while I wait for him to do so. Make time go faster perhaps. I just spent the entire weekend watching all the episodes of Pride & Prejudice (BBC, of course), twice, and all the extra material. And yet, I don't feel I wasted my time. On the contrary.

So hello! Let's see what happens when I get my hands on this blog thing. As the French have it, Au Revoir (for now)!
